Glossary
Breathability
The ability of a glove’s fabric or membrane to allow moisture (sweat) to escape, keeping hands dry during intense activity. Our gloves, like the PeakPulse series, use Gore-Tex® for optimal breathability.
Gore-Tex®
A high-performance waterproof and breathable membrane used in premium ski gloves to block water while allowing vapor to pass through, ensuring comfort in wet conditions.
HIPORA®
A waterproof and breathable insert commonly used in gloves, offering a cost-effective alternative to Gore-Tex® with reliable weather protection.
Insulation
Material inside gloves that traps heat to keep hands warm. Thinsulate™, used in our products, provides lightweight, efficient warmth (e.g., 120g for cold days).
Microfleece
A soft, lightweight polyester fabric with a brushed finish, prized for its moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties, often used in liners or standalone gloves like our RunPulse series.
Thinsulate™
A synthetic insulation by 3M™, known for its high warmth-to-weight ratio, making it ideal for ski gloves that need to stay slim yet warm.
